Overview
ROLE AT A GLANCE:
The Senior Officer Distribution Compliance, VN plays a role for driving full compliance and, continuous focus on compliance for Distribution & Logistics Team. Develops a compliance mindset within the Team and partners (service providers, carriers, customs brokers).
HOW YOU'LL MAKE AN IMPACT:
- Develop and promote a compliance mindset by supporting teams in understanding and applying correct processes in daily operations.
- Deploy compliance policies from RO/HO à Support regular review and implementation of Policies / SOPs across Distribution Operations (e.g Customs, H&S, Inventory, QA, Security), monitor legal / regulatory changes, and support the rollout of updated procedures from RO/HO.
- Regularly check actual operational executions vs. legal, policies, and SOP requirements. Document findings, reports deviation and ensure the correct processes are followed within Distribution & Logistics Team & 3PL
- Support the management of Distribution Operations related licenses and certificates (e,g bonded warehouse license), including tracking validity, preparing for audits, and escalating any potential compliance risks
- Coordinates activities & communication around internal audits, including the follow up on any open findings
- Support any compliance related topic
- Reports, investigates and evaluates any incident, penalty, fine, etc related to the operations and coordinates any preventive actions
- Regularly reports on compliance topics and KPIs to relevant stakeholders, and supports sharing of best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
- Supports local risk assessments for Distribution Operations in Vietnam, including identifying potential compliance risks and coordinating with relevant teams to implement corrective actions.
- Support company events as and when required
- Additional duties as assigned.
TEAM DYNAMICS:
Interacts with different levels throughout organization, including local functions, Herbalife independent distributors/Members, 3PL vendors & overseas related parties
