Overview
We are hiring a Senior Node.js Engineer (Web3) to build and scale backend infrastructure for a multi-chain DeFi platform that provides a unified API to access on-chain liquidity across multiple blockchains.
Our platform enables same-chain and cross-chain swaps with optimal pricing and seamless developer integration.
This is a full-time remote role open to candidates based in EMEA or APAC, with required overlap with EU working hours.

About the Role
As a Senior Node.js Engineer, you will design and build scalable backend systems and APIs powering a high-performance Web3 infrastructure platform.
You will work closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and other backend engineers to deliver reliable and production-grade systems.
This role involves system design, backend architecture, and performance optimization in a fast-moving Web3 environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend systems and APIs
- Build reliable and high-performance Node.js services
- Architect backend solutions for growing traffic and usage
- Optimize performance and system reliability
- Maintain clean and maintainable production code
- Implement monitoring and debugging solutions
- Write automated tests (unit, integration, end-to-end)
- Review code and maintain engineering standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior engineers when needed
- Document systems and APIs
Requirements
- Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
- Senior-level backend engineering experience
- Experience building scalable distributed systems
- Experience with Blockchain/Web3/DeFi
- Strong API design experience
- Experience with MongoDB or Redis
- Experience with Docker and cloud infrastructure
- Good system design knowledge
- Strong English communication
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
