Role purpose:
This role supports commercial growth by combining new business development execution with day-to-day sales operations support. The position is both externally facing (prospecting, meetings, pitch support) and internally enabling (sales tracking, proposals, and commercial materials), helping the commercial team operate with greater consistency and efficiency.
The focus is on winning new clients while supporting consistent ways of working across the commercial team through reliable processes, clear information, and well-maintained sales assets.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
1. New Business Development (50%)
- Identify and qualify new prospects through structured outreach (email, LinkedIn, calls).
- Maintain an up-to-date sales pipeline with regular follow-ups and basic forecasting discipline.
- Arrange and attend meetings with prospective clients to support relationship building and opportunity development.
- Support pitch preparation by coordinating inputs and preparing clear, commercially sound proposals.
- Work with local and regional teams to support proposal development and timely follow-ups for both local and MNC clients.
- Ensure sales activities, documents, and communications are recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development and upkeep of sales materials such as capability decks, proposal templates, case studies, and FAQs.
2. Sales Operations & Commercial Enablement (50%)
- Support the management of prospect and opportunity pipelines, ensuring accurate tracking of activities and deal stages.
- Maintain sales records, including opportunity data, meeting notes, and contact information.
- Support consistent use of sales tools and systems across the commercial team.
- Assist in improving sales workflows, templates, and standard reports to support day-to-day sales management.
- Prepare regular summaries and simple dashboards to track pipeline health, activity levels, and conversion trends.
WHATYOU'LL BRING:
- 1+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or a commercial support role.
- Experience managing or supporting a sales pipeline and contributing to pitch or proposal development.
- Understanding of core sales processes such as prospecting, opportunity tracking, and follow-ups.
- Comfortable working with sales tracking tools or CRM systems; quick to learn new tools and processes. Experience with Salesforce (or another CRM) is a strong plus.
- A clear and professional communicator, able to engage prospects and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Client-focused with an interest in building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Curious and improvement-oriented, with a practical mindset toward improving sales effectiveness.
