About Senior Software Engineer Position

We're looking for a Backend .NET Engineer to join a large-scale travel platform serving complex booking and supplier integration workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work on real-world enterprise systems, solve production-critical challenges, and contribute to improving the reliability and scalability of a high-traffic platform.

Responsibilities

·      Investigate and resolve production/system issues

·      Develop and maintain features in a large enterprise travel platform

·      Debug cross-service and asynchronous workflows

·      Work with distributed/domain-based architecture

·      Collaborate with product, operations, and support teams

·      Improve system reliability, performance, and maintainability

·      Support integrations with suppliers and third-party systems

Requirements

·      Strong experience with C#, .NET Framework 4.8, ASP.NET MVC/Web API

·      Solid knowledge of SQL Server, query optimization, and REST API integration

·      Experience with RabbitMQ or message-driven/distributed systems

·      Familiar with IIS, Windows Server, and enterprise/legacy applications

·      Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and production support skills

·      Understanding of distributed/SOA architectures

·      Effective English communication skills (written and spoken) for working with UK-based stakeholders

Preferred Experience

·      Experience with travel, OTA, or booking platforms

·      Experience with supplier/third-party integrations and distributed systems

·      Familiar with AWS/cloud infrastructure, Solr, and logging/audit/tracing systems
