ABOUT THE JOB
As a Senior/ Middle Project Analyst, you will lead and coordinate the Project Management support and enabling activities undertaken within a large program of work. This requires supporting and providing assurance across project planning, status reporting, financial budgeting and reporting, risk and issue management and change control processes. You will be responsible for assisting the maintenance of project quality standards by implementing and ensuring adherence to NAB specific methodology, processes and tools.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Supporting the Project/ Program Manager in managing a range of projects in scale and complexity for the cross-divisional Marketing Team
- Supporting Project Managers with Adobe Workfront, Clarity and Rally, ensuring accurate project records, reporting, governance compliance, and adherence to established processes
- Supporting project Planning, Execution activities and Schedule Management
- Supporting and providing assurance over Risk, Issue and Change Management Functions
- Supporting and enabling effective Cost Management through analysis and assurance, working with Leads to manage project/ program budgets and support completion of work stream funding submissions, using nominated financial workbooks
- Processing of monthly finances and reconciliation reporting
- Liaising with Project/ Program Managers to support delivery against the program timelines
- Working collaboratively with Marketing Planning & Operations team members to assist in the success of broader projects.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in project management or related roles
- Good understanding of project management principles and key phases of project delivery, with demonstrated experience working in an agile environment
- Basic understanding of marketing principles
- Strong ability to manage, analyse, report and negotiate on project budgets and costs, and help Project Managers with Funding Submissions and understanding of financial treatments
- Experience working with financial workbooks (i.e. maintain cost plans, actuals, forecasts, reference data) is mandatory for the role
- Good understanding of how to effectively provide assurance and oversight over key project delivery processes and project data
- Detailed knowledge of how to maintain and manage Risks & Issues Registers and provide governance over Change Control process, providing reporting at project and program level
- Good understanding of how to identify and track project dependencies and maintain project plans
- Strong Stakeholder Management, Communication and Teamwork skills
- Experienced in developing and presenting clear and concise reporting/papers/presentations
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, Clarity, Rally
- Prior project experience in the Banking and Financial Services Industry is an advantage.
