Senior Manager/Manager and Senior Associate/Associate and Analyst (3 positions)
Location: Ho Chi Minh City
POSITION OVERVIEW:
1-Senior Manager/Manager:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of transactions-from identifying new opportunities to supporting successful deal execution-working closely with the Managing Director.
- Guide the preparation of transaction materials, market insights, and analytical outputs required for advisory engagements.
- Coordinate project workflows, ensure effective communication with clients and partners, and contribute to the commercial growth of the practice through relationship building and opportunity development.
- Proactively engage with entrepreneurs, investors, and industry stakeholders as part of our deal-sourcing network.
- Play a key role in mentoring junior team members, ensuring quality in deliverables such as teasers, information memorandums, financial models, and other transaction documents.
2-Senior Associate/Associate:
- Support senior team members in the execution of M&A and corporate finance advisory mandates from early-stage analysis through deal completion.
- Prepare key transaction documents, including teasers, information memoranda, pitch decks, and analytical reports.
- Develop financial analyses and support valuation work by building and updating financial models, scenario cases, and presentation materials.
- Conduct industry, market, and company-specific research to generate insights that support deal assessment and client recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence processes by collecting data, organizing findings, and coordinating with client's internal teams and external advisors.
- Assist in preparing strategic analyses related to transaction rationale, business performance, and potential deal opportunities.
- Contribute to idea generation and opportunity tracking by monitoring market trends and maintaining communication with clients & partners.
3-Analyst:
- Support senior team members in the execution of M&A and corporate finance advisory mandates from early-stage analysis through deal completion.
- Prepare essential transaction materials, including, including teasers, information memoranda, pitch decks, and analytical reports.
- Assist in financial analysis and valuation, including building and updating financial models, scenario cases, and presentation materials.
- Conduct industry, market, and company research to generate insights that inform deal assessment and client recommendations.
- Participate in due diligence processes by gathering data, organizing findings, and coordinating with clients internal teams and external advisors.
- Support the preparation of strategic analyses related to transaction rationale, business performance, and potential opportunities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
1-Senior Manager/Manager:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline with minimum 5 years of work experience in the same or higher- level positions at securities companies, fund managers, auditing firms, investment banks, or other financial institutions. Strong background in corporate finance advisory, M&A, or audit/consulting is mandatory.
- Excellent valuation analysis skills, including DCF, comparable company/ comparable transaction analysis, and other standard valuation methodologies. Advanced financial modeling skills, with ability to build complex financial models and conduct scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Fluency in spoken and written English. Capable of participating in daily communication, conducting and leading client meetings, and delivering presentations in English at a professional level.
- In-depth understanding of securities regulations, industry rules, corporate finance laws, and related compliance requirements; strong knowledge of Merger Filing and M&A approval procedures in Vietnam. Experience working with regulatory authorities, legal advisors, and relevant stakeholders.
- Proven track record of closing at least 5 M&A deals or corporate finance advisory transactions or strategic consulting mandates in a leading or key role. Experience in large-scale post-merger integration (PMI) is preferred but not mandatory.
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Strong project management skills, with ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timelines and deliverables effectively. Strong communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide junior staff and work effectively with clients and external partners.
2-Senior Associate/Associate:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with 4-5 years (for senior associate)/ 3 years (for associate) of relevant working experience in securities companies, investment banks, fund management companies, auditing firms, or other financial institutions.
- Strong skills in valuation analysis, including DCF, comparable company analysis, comparable transactions, and other standard financial methodologies. Solid financial modeling capability.
- Ability to prepare high-quality presentations, marketing material and analytical reports.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to prepare professional documentation and present at meetings.
- Basic to intermediate understanding of securities market regulations, corporate finance rules, and M&A-related procedures. Familiarity with M&A approval processes and compliance requirements is an advantage (deep expertise not required; training will be provided).
- Experience supporting M&A or corporate finance transactions or strategic consulting mandates; involvement in at least 2 completed deals is mandatory. Capable of assisting senior team members in due diligence, data analysis, industry research, and transaction execution tasks.
3-Analyst:
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Accounting, or a related field, with minimum 1 year of relevant working experience in securities companies, investment banks, fund management companies, auditing firms, or other financial institutions.
- Basic knowledge of valuation methods (DCF, comparables, precedent transactions). Ability to build and maintain financial models under guidance.
- Ability to prepare high-quality presentations, marketing material and analytical reports.
- Fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to prepare professional documentation and present at meetings.
- Basic understanding of securities market regulations, corporate finance rules, and M&A-related procedures.
- Experience supporting M&A or corporate finance transactions or strategic consulting mandates. Capable of assisting senior team members in due diligence, data analysis, industry research, and transaction execution tasks.
