Job Description

SCOPE OF WORK

  • The Senior Manager/Manager, HR & Admin (Hospitality) generally involves overseeing and managing HR operations of Hospitality functions within the organization. The position acts as a liaison between the HR department and the business unit, working closely with senior leaders and management to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives.
  • The role coordinates the alignment and execution of an international hospitality group's Learning & Development programs, staff engagement initiatives, and other company-wide HR frameworks, ensuring full integration with the operating hotel group's brand standards and seamless, consistent delivery across all Hospitality operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Duties may include, but not limited to:

  • Providing oversight and assistance to line manager on operations matters, including but not limited manpower plan with impacts assessments, seasonal workforce planning and ongoing/ad-hoc business matters within Hospitality operations.
  • Developing an aligned approach to talent localization by attracting high-potential candidates, and appropriate positioning of employees in the hospitality industry.
  • Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Managing the recruitment process and working with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and attract top talent.
  • Coordinating with L&D to deploy training programs, leadership development initiatives, and brand-standard training across Hospitality functions.
  • Creating and implementing performance management systems that help employees and managers set goals and measure progress.
  • Developing and administering compensation and benefits programs that are competitive and aligned with industry standards.
  • Maintaining accurate and complete employee records and ensuring compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related issues, including employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, department heads, and internal/external partners.
  • Managing the HR budget and ensuring that resources are used effectively to achieve HR objectives.
  • Staying up-to-date on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve HR processes and practices.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by Line Manager and the Company Management.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree and above
  • At least 3 to 5 years of experience in HR, with experience in a senior HR leadership role at a 5-star international hotel/resort group or integrated hospitality environment required.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both English and Vietnamese languages with the ability to work collaboratively with senior leaders.
