Senior Manager, Bancassurance Product Development - Personal Financial Services

Overview:

The Bancassurance Product Development Senior Manager is responsible for the development and execution of the Wealth and Bancassurance strategy. This role will directly oversee the end-to-end product lifecycle, from product development and marketing to business partner management and channel optimization. The primary goal is to enhance the customer proposition and maximize fee income. Additionally, you are responsible for optimizing the customer journey and ensuring strict adherence to risk, governance, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership & Product Growth

• Drive the strategic financial direction and execution plans for the Bancassurance and Wealth portfolio.
• Oversee end-to-end product development for insurance and investment suites, including marketing and channel expansion.
• Champion the customer journey, collaborating cross-functionally (Operations, Digital, Marketing) to drive experience, retention, and revenue.

Governance & Ecosystem Management

• Ensure robust product risk management and strict adherence to internal and external regulatory compliance frameworks.
• Cultivate strategic relationships with external partners and regulatory bodies to enhance distribution channels and industry development.

Skills & Experience We Are Looking For:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in any commerce related field. Majoring in Finance & Banking is preferable.
• 7+ years of experience – preferable in the financial industry.
• Excellent track record in product development.
• Effective written and alternative communication skills (e.g., strong proficiency in email, teleconferencing) are essential.
