About Pandora Production Vietnam

Pandora's new jewellery crafting facility is located in the Vietnam–Singapore Industrial Park III (VSIP III), about 40 km north of Ho Chi Minh City. When fully scaled, the state-of-the-art facility will produce up to 60 million jewellery pieces annually and employ around 7,000 craftspeople. It is powered entirely by renewable energy and built to LEED Gold certification standards.

Key Objectives

DAY to DAY OPERATION

  • Oversee and ensure Pandora Vietnam local and Group financial reporting in compliance with applicable accounting standards, local regulations, IFRS, and Group Accounting Policy.
  • Lead the month-end closing process and oversee accounting operations to ensure timely and accurate financial results.
  • Maintain and update the Chart of Accounts and ensure account owners perform accurate, complete, and detailed reviews.
  • Align internal control practices with legal, tax, and risk management policies and initiatives.
  • Oversee intercompany finance transactions, advise the team, and provide management insights.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual account reviews, reconciliations, and fluctuation analyses for the balance sheet and P&L to identify unusual trends or areas requiring management attention.
  • Review intercompany balance and transactions.
  • Review all accruals in current and operating layers.
  • Prepare quarterly contingent liabilities and subsequent event checklist report.
  • Supervise Procure-to-Pay operations and controls, including issue resolution, to ensure smooth finance operations under a strong control environment.
  • Oversee cash flow management, treasury activities, bank account administration, banking documentation, and coordination with Group Treasury and local banks.
  • Supervise all tax, EPE, statutory, and regulatory reporting requirements, including coordination with tax advisors, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate Group reporting and timely submission of reporting packages.
  • Approve all direct journal vouchers posted in HFM including review all HFM uploaded data.
  • Review and approve the monthly reconciliation between AX2012 and HFM.
  • Handle monthly dashboard analysis and business performance review (BPR)
  • Prepare fluctuation and detailed analyses for the balance sheet and profit and loss statement, including review commentary reports for local management and Group.
  • Manage Pandora Vietnam year-end audit with auditors and coordinate across functions.
  • Review annual local statutory financial statements and ensure timely submission to the relevant Vietnam authorities.

COMPLIANCE

  • Establish, maintain and revise Pandora Vietnam department operations, policies, guidelines and business flows to ensure effectiveness, efficiency and compliance with local laws and regulations, Group guidelines and control framework.
  • Ensure departmental execution is efficient, compliant with the above principles, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Provide guidance to the team on processes, controls, and procedures.

MONITORING

  • Monitor and analyze relevant information to identify areas requiring management attention or unusual trends.
  • Prepare and review related reports and reconciliations to identify unusual items, highlight important matters, follow up, and determine appropriate actions.

COORDINATION

  • Act as a strong business partner across Pandora Group.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and consistency for reporting purposes.

OTHERS

  • Oversee financial reporting and compliance for new businesses and projects.
  • Prepare and support other related ad hoc reports and activities.
  • Identify potential business opportunities, impacts, and process improvements.
  • Implement business-related projects arising from identified opportunities, business changes, or process improvements.
  • Engage in technology transformation and related projects, such as SAP implementation, business process transformation
  • Coach and develop the team by providing guidance, resolving complex issues, and fostering a positive team environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related majors
  • Over 15 years experience in accounting and related area.
  • At least 3–5 years of audit experience. At least 3–5 years of relevant experience in the accounting closing process and accounting operations.
  • Experience in manufacturing industry is preferred.
  • Experience in Business Finance management, with an accounting/ audit background.
  • CPD, CPA, or Chief Accountant certification is required.
  • ERP experience
  • Proficient in English
  • Strong presentation skills and attention to detail
