Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Lead the design and optimization of high-end optical test solutions, develop automated test systems, solve complex test problems in mass production, and formulate test standards and quality control processes.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree or above, in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electro-optics, Physics or Communications, preferred with background in fiber optic industry
- 10+ years of experience in mixed testing process and test system development, product failure analysis
Skills
- Experience in developing Fiber Optic modules is preferred.
- Skillful on software C#, JMP.
- Test system setting up and improvement. Familiar with the DC and RF test method and debug.
- Product Yield monitor and test-failure debug on optical and electronic, mechanical.
- Test improvement from software (must be familiar with software logic) and hardware (cost down).
- OSA return, test and failure-debug, issue FA report.
- Train technician in test development and maintenance.
- Ability to work highly independently with minimal guidance from supervisor on specific tasks.
- Excels in a cross-organizational, cross cultural, global team environment.
- Hands-on experience in all aspects of test with expertise in software and hardware.
- Adaptability, Customer Focus, Innovation, Planning and Organizing, Problem Solving, Decision Making and Continuous Improvement, Professional and Technical Knowledge and Skills, Reliable and Dependable, Results Oriented, Teamwork and Positive Relationships, Work Standards/Quality/ Details.
- Good communication skills in English. Chinese communication skill is a plus .
