Job Description
M&A Execution
- Lead and manage the full lifecycle of M&A transactions, including target identification, evaluation, due diligence, negotiation, and deal closure
- Coordinate cross-functional teams (finance, legal, tax, commercial, etc.) to ensure smooth and timely execution of transactions
- Support post-merger integration planning and tracking to maximize deal value
Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling
- Perform detailed financial modelling, valuation, and return analysis for potential investment opportunities
- Conduct commercial and strategic assessments to evaluate deal attractiveness and alignment with business objectives
- Prepare high-quality investment papers, presentations, and recommendations for senior management
Strategy & Pipeline Development
- Contribute to the development and refinement of the company's M&A and growth strategy
- Identify and proactively source potential acquisition or partnership opportunities across target markets
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments to inform strategic decisions
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate closely with regional and global leadership teams to align on deal priorities and execution approaches
- Build and maintain relationships with external parties including investment banks, advisory firms, financial institutions, and relevant authorities
- Effectively manage internal and external stakeholders throughout the deal lifecycle
Project Leadership
- Independently manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, ensuring quality and timely delivery
- Navigate complex and cross-border transaction environments with strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Provide guidance and insight to junior team members where applicable
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree & above with over 10 years of experience in Corporate Finance or M&A, for example: Investment Bank, Big Four firm, strong M&A boutique, or corporate M&A role.
- Leading M&A processes independently
- Experience in valuation, due diligence, and deal negotiation
- Proactive and hands-on with a results-driven mindset
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder manager
- Analytical, adaptable, and resilient team player
- Thriving in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
