The Senior Logistics Specialist is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all logistics operations across the system, including import activities, local distribution, internal transfers, and warehouse management, ensuring timely supply of goods, full compliance with applicable regulations, cost optimization, and enhanced operational efficiency throughout the organization.
Role Description
1. Local
- Plan and coordinate the allocation and delivery of goods to centers for suppliers who do not deliver
- Arrange internal transportation between centers, including assets, equipment, operational goods, and semi-finished products.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timeliness, accuracy in quantity, and minimize loss or damage.
- Collaborate with relevant departments to resolve issues arising during delivery and receipt.
2. Import
- Execute and control the end-to-end import process for goods sourced from international suppliers.
- Prepare and process customs documentation including Invoice, Packing List, Contract and other relevant documents.
- Carry out labeling procedures and quality inspection in compliance with applicable regulations.
- Allocate goods to centers after customs clearance in accordance with the approved distribution plan.
3.Warehouse Management
- Central warehouse: manage and store goods including accounting documents transferred from previous warehouses, Carter fixtures, Master Kidz full-set items, and related assets.
- Sub-Warehouse: manage and store accounting documents, remaining old uniforms, and Master Kidz individual items.
- Control inbound, outbound, and inventory balances to ensure accuracy between physical stock and system
- Conduct periodic stock counts and prepare inventory reports as required.
- Propose solutions to optimize logistics costs and enhance operational efficiency across the system.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Management.
Qualifications
- University degree in Logistics, ImportExport, Supply Chain Management, or related fields.
- Strong understanding of customs regulations, quality inspection requirements, and product labeling compliance.
- From 35 years of experience in a Senior Logistics or Import role.
- Preference will be given to candidates with experience in retail, F&B, or multi-site service chains with 8 or more stores/centers.
- Proven ability in warehouse management and effective inventory control.
