Senior Litigation Associate

Apolat Legal is looking for a Senior Litigation Associate to participate in our dynamic and enthusiastic team. The successful candidate will be working at Apolat Legal's Ho Chi Minh City office.

The job description and requirements are as follows:

1.           Job Description

• Independently managing dispute cases, including direct communication with clients, competent state authorities, and other dispute resolution bodies;
• Developing case strategies, conducting legal research, and analyzing case files to effectively resolve disputes;
• Drafting legal advice, legal opinions, and strategic recommendations in response to clients questions regarding disputes;
• Drafting and reviewing lawsuit dossiers, defense arguments, and other procedural documents for court and arbitration proceedings;
• Assisting Partners in representing clients, working with relevant parties, and participating in dispute resolution procedures at arbitration centers and courts;
• Supervising, managing, assigning tasks to, and training junior staff, including Associates and Paralegals;
• Reviewing work products of junior staff to ensure quality and consistency with the firm's standards;
• Supporting Partners in client management, business development activities, and maintaining client relationships when required;
• Performing other legal tasks as assigned by Partners.

2.           Job Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Law;
• Lawyer's practice certificate;
• At least 05 years of experience in litigation or dispute resolution at a law firm or relevant legal practice;
• Solid understanding of court and arbitration procedures and practical experience in handling dispute cases;
• Excellent legal, critical, and analytical thinking abilities;
• Strong legal research and drafting skills, including the ability to prepare legal memoranda, submissions, and advice in both English and Vietnamese;
• Strong advocacy, verbal communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and authorities;
• Advanced English proficiency with a minimum IELTS score of 6.5 overall or TOEIC (4 skills) score of 750;
• Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining precise attention to detail;
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining work quality;
• Flexibility to work extended hours when required;
• Strong adaptability and professionalism in the workplace.

3.           Working Time:

-       Full time;

-       From Monday to Friday.
