The Role: Senior Lighting Designer

Location: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam or Casablanca, Marocco.

We are seeking a Senior Lighting Designer who understands that light is a vital for life. As a senior consultant, you will be responsible for translating complex wellness requirements into elegant, high-performance architectural lighting schemes.

Strategic Responsibilities
  • Wellness-Centric Design: Conceptualize lighting environments that prioritize human health and circadian alignment, moving beyond mere aesthetics to functional well-being.
  • Pure Consultancy: Act as a lead advisor to architects, landscapers, MEPs, operators and developers, ensuring the lighting design maintains its integrity from concept through to the final commissioning.
  • Technical Excellence: Develop sophisticated documentation, including spectral analysis, lighting calculations, and advanced control strategies that support Life and Wellness.
  • Mentorship & Ethics: Lead and inspire a team of designers while upholding KObi's ethical standards in every project phase.
Qualifications & DNA
  • The Expertise: A proven track record in Architectural Lighting Consultancy with a portfolio showcasing large-scale or complex international projects.
  • The Knowledge: Deep familiarity with WELL Building Standards, biophilic design principles, and the physiological effects of light on health.
  • The Tools: Mastery of industry-standard design software (Dialux/Relux, CAD, Adobe Suite) and a high level of technical literacy in lighting controls.
  • The Background: A Bachelor's degree in Lighting Design, Architecture, or Interior Design.
