Provide legal advice and interpretation on banking, corporate, and commercial matters to senior management and business units.
Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts and legal documents, including financing agreements, service contracts, and partnership arrangements.
Advise on regulatory and compliance issues in relation to banking operations, products, and new initiatives.
Manage litigation, disputes, and external counsel relationships where required.
Support transaction structuring and due diligence for corporate and financial deals.
Monitor and update management on new laws, regulations, and regulatory developments impacting the bank.
Contribute to internal policy development and ensure alignment with local and international legal standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior legal counsels within the team.
Requirements
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Law; qualified lawyer (Vietnam Bar preferred).
Minimum 10 years of relevant legal experience in banking, financial services, or leading law firms.
Strong understanding of Vietnamese banking, corporate, and regulatory laws.
Proven ability to manage complex legal matters independently and provide practical business-oriented solutions.
Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills in both English and Vietnamese.
High integrity, sound judgment, and ability to work under pressure in a dynamic environment.
