The Opportunity
Our valued client is an international, growing company in the Manufacturing industry. As a Senior Lab Technician in this firm, you will have a unique opportunity to strengthen your skills and grow in an international working environment. This position will be based in Hai Phong city.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Testing Lab Manager in implementing testing methods and company testing standards to all factory testing labs (T1/T2).
- Manage testing labs at footwear factories and Tier 2 suppliers to ensure compliance with company testing methods and standards.
- Monitor and summarize test results from T1/T2 factory testing labs or external third-party labs.
- Regularly follow up on testing activities at factory labs and update company with reports and improvements.
- Support the testing team in building and maintaining databases related to LTS, BIS, SASO & ES testing standards, and other related areas.
- Analyze test data and provide solutions to improve quality and testing-related performance.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in footwear testing labs; experience with apparel or accessories testing is a plus.
- Proficient with all types of testing equipment and methods, able to summarize and report test results clearly to management or suppliers.
- Knowledge of footwear materials and testing standards.
- Proficient in English, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Able to travel for work
