KEY RESPONSIBILITIES- Work directly with Modern Trade partners (supermarkets, convenience store chains) and wholesale customers.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Build and execute sales and distribution plans tailored to each customer.
- Analyze sales data and propose strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Proactively identify and explore opportunities to expand into uncovered or potential sales channels.
- Coordinate with the field team to monitor product availability, merchandising, and display conditions at points of sale.
- Plan and implement in-store promotions, trade marketing activities, and product display programs.
- Negotiate commercial terms, contracts, pricing, and trade policies with customers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to deploy sales support and promotional activities.
- Handle issues arising during customer cooperation and ensure timely resolution.
- Monitor, track, and report sales performance and KPI achievement on a regular basis.
- Conduct market and competitor analysis to recommend appropriate business strategies.
- Work closely with Legal and Accounting teams to ensure compliance with payment processes, discounts, and commercial policies.
- Participate in developing long-term B2B & Modern Trade channel strategies, including risk assessment for new channel expansion (e.g. pricing conflicts, overlapping promotions).
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the direct manager.
REQUIREMENTS- Minimum 12 years of experience in B2B sales, Modern Trade, or key account management.
- Solid knowledge and understanding of the Modern Trade retail market in Vietnam.
- Strong negotiation, persuasion, and relationship-building skills.
- Good analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and develop business plans.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and perform well under pressure.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Proactive mindset with a strong willingness to learn and innovate.
- Willingness and availability to travel frequently to customer sites and points of sale.
- Candidates with experience in the FMCG industry are highly preferred.
