Role Description
- We are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to work onsite in Dist 7 - HCMC, contributing to enterprise-grade backend systems.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend systems using Java (Spring Boot).
- Participate in system architecture design, technical solution proposal, and optimization.
- Develop and optimize APIs, services, and backend logic to ensure high performance and scalability.
- Work with SQL databases (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, Redis).
- Deploy, monitor, and maintain applications on Cloud platforms (AWS / GCP / Azure).
- Work with Kubernetes for container orchestration and application deployment.
- Collaborate with multiple teams (Frontend, QA, DevOps, Product)to deliver features on time.
- Review code, ensure coding standards, best practices, and system quality.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues when needed.
- Support and mentor junior/middle developers when required.
Qualifications
- Good English communication skills (reading, writing, discussion in technical context)
- Strong experience with Java, especially Spring Boot.
- Solid knowledge of:
- At least 1 SQL database
- At least 1 NoSQL database
- Hands-on experience with Cloud computing: AWS / GCP / Azure
- Experience working with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, monitoring).
- Proficient in Git (branching, merge, pull request, code review).
- Good understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture.
- Familiar with CI/CD concepts is a plus.
