We are seeking an experienced Java Enterprise Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance banking applications. In this role, you will collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions, working across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) to ensure robust system performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients, business analysts, and stakeholders to identify and understand application requirements.
• Technical Design: Translate business requirements into clear technical specifications, system designs, and logic workflows.
• Software Development: Write clean, scalable, and maintainable frontend, backend, RESTful API code utilizing Java and Spring Boot.
• Testing & Optimization: Conduct system testing, debug software issues, and optimize application and database performance.
• Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and system procedures.
• Compliance & Security: Adhere to programming guidelines, update technical policies, and maintain strict data confidentiality.
• Team Collaboration: Work in an Agile/Scrum environment, closely collaborating with QA, DevOps, and Product Owners.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Java Enterprise Edition (JEE) web application development.

Required Skills

• Proficient in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Basic frontend knowledge: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React
• Database expertise: PostgreSQL, Oracle, DB2

Preferred Skills

• Experience completing at least one full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) implementation.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision while consistently delivering high-quality results.
• Capable of formulating sound technical proposals and making critical implementation decisions with supervisory guidance.
• Strong analytical, investigative, communication, and stakeholder negotiation skills.
