Role Description:

This is a hybrid contract role for a Senior Java Developer based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, with some flexibility for remote work. The Senior Java Developer will design, develop, and optimize software solutions with a focus on Java-based applications and microservices architecture. Responsibilities include implementing the Spring Boot Framework for enterprise applications, writing and testing efficient and scalable code, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. The role also requires the identification and resolution of software issues and continuous improvement of system performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java / Spring Boot.
• Build scalable and high-performance applications.
• Participate in system design and architecture discussions.
• Integrate with databases and third-party APIs.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Support code reviews and mentor junior developers.

Job Qualifications & Requirements:

• From 4,5+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Strong knowledge of SQL / relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.).
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, Docker is a plus.
• Familiar with Agile Scrum development practices.
• Good communication in English.

• Working model: Hybrid (1- 2 days/week at the office)
• Working time: Monday - Friday
• Office location: Tan Son Hoa Ward, HCM / Hoa Cuong Ward, Da Nang
• Offer/Rate: Based on experience and qualifications
• SHUI contributions are based on the Full gross salary (from the 1^st onboarding date)
• Duration: 6-12 months at 1^st service contractor (no probation)
• Contract renewal based on the project
• Expected onboarding date: ASAP (preferred)
• Laptop and other devices: Self-provided or will be provided (depending on the project)
