Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Senior Java Backend Developer at Limix (Finance, cryptocurrency & blockchain AI). The Senior Java Backend Developer will be responsible for software development, working with microservices, programming using the Spring Framework, and Java.
- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications.
- Design and build high-performance systems and optimize code.
- Implement comprehensive unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability, scalability, and high performance.
- Collaborate with the Product team to understand customer needs and translate them into user-friendly and scalable solutions.
- Participate in post-mortem and incident management processes to ensure the reliability and performance of our product.
- Other tasks assigned by Line Manager.
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in designing and implementing backend systems using Java.
- Strong proficiency in Java and its ecosystem (e.g., Spring Boot), SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis) databases, RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
- Experience with message queue systems such as Amazon SQS, Amazon SNS, Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc, AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Docker and Kubernetes, Agile and Scrum.
- Experience with End-to-End Encryption (E2EE) is a plus
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
