We are looking for a Senior IT Engineer to support enterprise collaboration and productivity platform migration projects. The role requires strong hands-on experience across Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments, with a focus on migration, configuration, troubleshooting, and production support.
The ideal candidate has experience working with both ecosystems and can take ownership of migration activities, from assessment and planning through cutover and post-migration support.
I. What You'll Do
- Plan and execute enterprise migration activities across Google Workspace and Microsoft 365 environments.
- Perform and support Google Workspace tenant-to-tenant migrations and/or Microsoft 365 / Office 365 to Google Workspace migrations.
- Configure, migrate, and validate Google Workspace services, including Gmail, Google Drive, Google Chat, and related components.
- Work with Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related collaboration components.
- Assess source and target environments to identify migration dependencies, data mapping, technical constraints, and potential risks.
- Support migration planning, testing, pilot migration, production cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
- Troubleshoot migration issues related to email, files, permissions, authentication, user accounts, and collaboration services.
- Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure migrated data is complete and accessible.
- Support identity and access-related activities, including Active Directory / Entra ID, authentication, SSO, and permissions where applicable.
- Develop and maintain migration procedures, technical documentation, runbooks, and troubleshooting guides.
- Monitor migration progress, identify issues, and work with project stakeholders to resolve technical blockers.
- Collaborate with project managers, IT teams, administrators, and other technical stakeholders to ensure successful migration delivery.
- Provide technical guidance and support to other engineers during migration activities.
II. Job Qualifications
Must-have
- Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT Infrastructure, System Engineering, or related roles.
- Hands-on experience with Google Workspace and Microsoft 365
- Experience with Google Workspace tenant-to-tenant and/or M365 → Google Workspace migration.
- Strong knowledge of Gmail, Drive, Chat, Exchange Online, and Microsoft Teams.
- Experience with migration tools, troubleshooting, data validation, permissions, and cutover.
- Good English communication and technical documentation skills.
Nice-to-have
- Experience with enterprise / large-scale migration projects.
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, SSO, and identity synchronization.
- Scripting experience with PowerShell or Google Apps Script.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Relevant Google Workspace / Microsoft 365 certifications.
- Experience in IT consulting or digital workplace transformation.
