Masan Group is building a centralized legal technology platform to standardize and digitize how Legal operates across the Group and its subsidiaries (WinCommerce, Masan Consumer, Masan MEATLife, Phúc Long, WinX, and others). The program spans contract lifecycle management, legal entity and corporate records, matter/case management, compliance and regulatory tracking, document automation, and legal knowledge — moving a high-volume, multi-entity, multi-jurisdictional legal function from manual and fragmented workflows to a single governed platform.
This is a zero-to-one build. The Legal platform is the first in a roadmap of function-transformation platforms across the Group — the playbook you help create here will shape how Masan digitizes other corporate functions next. You will join at the earliest stage, where processes are still being discovered, priorities shift as we learn, and structure is something you create rather than inherit.
The role
You are the bridge between Legal stakeholders across the Group and the technology delivery team. You spend as much time with people as with documents: sitting with legal teams at each subsidiary to understand how they actually work, earning their trust, and translating between lawyers and engineers who speak very different languages. You turn how Legal works today into clear, prioritized requirements; you help select and shape the right platform; and you make sure what gets built is genuinely adopted across business units — not just delivered.
Key responsibilities
- Run structured discovery with Legal teams at Group and subsidiary level; map as-is processes (contract intake-to-signature, entity management, dispute/matter handling, compliance workflows) and surface pain points, volumes, and bottlenecks.
- Build working relationships with legal stakeholders across subsidiaries — each with their own practices, priorities, and sensitivities — and align them toward common standards without losing their buy-in.
- Design to-be processes that standardize across BUs while accommodating legitimate subsidiary differences.
- Produce BRDs/FRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria; maintain a prioritized, traceable backlog — and re-prioritize confidently as the program's understanding evolves.
- Support vendor/solution evaluation: RFP requirements, fit-gap analysis against CLM/LegalTech platforms, and configuration-vs-customization trade-offs.
- Define the legal data model and contract/entity data migration mapping.
- Act as the day-to-day liaison between Legal users and the development/configuration team; clarify requirements through build and resolve ambiguity quickly so delivery never stalls.
- Plan and lead UAT — test scenarios, defect triage, sign-off coordination.
- Drive change management: SOPs, training materials, super-user enablement, and rollout sequencing across BUs.
- Define and report on legal ops KPIs (e.g., contract turnaround time, % standard-template usage, active adoption per BU).
Requirements
- 5+ years as a Business Analyst on enterprise software / digital transformation / system implementation projects (end-to-end, including UAT and go-live).
- Adaptability as a core strength: proven ability to operate in greenfield or fast-changing environments — comfortable with ambiguity, shifting requirements, and building process where none exists yet.
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder skills: able to work effectively with senior, cross-functional stakeholders — from legal counsel at subsidiaries to engineers on the delivery team — listening well, managing expectations, and navigating disagreement diplomatically.
- Excellent communication in both Vietnamese and English (written and spoken) — legal content is bilingual, and you will present to and document for senior audiences in both languages.
- Strong process mapping (BPMN or equivalent) and requirements documentation; comfortable writing user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum and/or hybrid delivery.
Preferred
- Exposure to legal/contract/compliance processes, or to LegalTech/CLM platforms (e.g., Icertis, Ironclad, DocuSign/SirionLabs CLM, or comparable).
- Law degree, paralegal, or legal-ops background — a strong plus for a BA who has it.
- Experience in large, multi-entity, or regulated organizations; M&A or post-merger integration exposure.
- Data/reporting tooling (Power BI) and familiarity with low-code/workflow platforms.
Why this role
- Your work becomes the standard. You are not implementing someone else's blueprint — the processes, data model, and delivery playbook you shape here will define how Legal operates across Masan's entire ecosystem, and will be reused as the Group digitizes its next functions.
- Breadth few BA roles can offer. You work at the intersection of law, technology, and business across retail, consumer goods, F&B, and more — with direct exposure to senior leaders at both Group and subsidiary level.
- A roadmap, not a project. The Legal platform is the first of several function-transformation platforms. For someone who thrives on new challenges, this role is designed to grow — from one platform to the broader transformation agenda.
