What You'll Do
As an Investment Manager based in Ho Chi Minh City, you will be at the forefront of identifying promising investment opportunities in Vietnam's vibrant residential sector. - Conduct thorough due diligence on potential residential projects, evaluating risks, creating detailed financial models, analysing legal aspects of land and projects, and proposing acquisition strategies with term sheets.
- Prepare pre-investment committee documentation and lead negotiations to close deals while supporting contract preparation for successful transactions.
- Manage project licensing steps by coordinating closely with joint venture partners and consultants to ensure all regulatory requirements are met efficiently.
- Monitor the financial performance of ongoing projects by updating financial models regularly and providing accurate reports to management.
- Assist in liaising with banks for sourcing funds required for project investments and maintaining strong relationships with financial institutions.
- Prepare quarterly market reports tailored specifically to the needs of the organisation to inform strategic decision-making.
- Develop integrated business plans in coordination with the CEO that align with both short-term goals and long-term ambitions for residential development.
- Act as the principal public relations officer representing the company with government entities, the financial community, and the general public to enhance reputation and stakeholder engagement.
- Recruit, develop, manage, and motivate employees within your team to build a dependable network of professionals committed to shared objectives.
What You Bring
- Demonstrated ability to independently identify residential investment opportunities through effective networking with industry professionals such as developers, brokers, and landlords.
- Extensive experience (8+ years) in the real estate residential sector with a proven track record of successful deals done and a strong professional network.
- Political awareness combined with professional expertise in finance; adept at navigating complex regulatory environments while maintaining team spirit.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Business Administration or equivalent practical experience relevant to property investment management.
