Position: Investment Associate Financial Due Diligence & Project Development

Level: Associate / Senior Associate (35 years)

Role Summary

The Investment Associate will support ITI Fund in evaluating, structuring, and developing investment projects, with a strong focus on financial due diligence and post-investment financial oversight, while also actively participating in project development and business building activities.

This role is suited for candidates with a solid accounting / auditing background who are transitioning toward an investment and business development career, and who possess strong analytical, logical, and system-thinking capabilities. The position is a senior technical contributor role (non-managerial), with exposure across the full investment lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Due Diligence & Investment Analysis

• Support financial due diligence for potential investments, including analysis of financial statements, cash flows, working capital, and key financial risks.
• Contribute to valuation, financial modeling, and investment return analysis.
• Assist in preparing investment materials for internal review and decision-making.

2. Post-Investment Financial Monitoring

• Support financial oversight of portfolio companies and investment projects.
• Monitor financial performance, budgets, cash flow, and key financial KPIs.
• Assist in improving financial reporting, control, and planning processes for investee companies.

3. Project Development & Business Support

• Participate in the development of new investment projects and ventures from early evaluation to execution.
• Support feasibility studies, business planning, and financial structuring of new projects.
• Work with internal teams and portfolio management to translate investment theses into operational and financial roadmaps.
• Contribute to the design of financial and governance frameworks for new subsidiaries and projects.

Requirements

Experience & Background

• 35 years of experience in auditing, accounting, transaction services, corporate finance, or investment analysis.
• Strong foundation in financial statements, accounting standards, and financial analysis.

Skills & Mindset

• Strong analytical, logical, and structured thinking.
• Business-oriented mindset, beyond pure compliance or bookkeeping.
• Interest in investment projects, company building, and hands-on business development.
• High sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and ability to work across functions.

Education / Certification

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related fields.
• CPA, ACCA, CFA (or in progress) is an advantage.
