Senior Interior Designer will be responsible for delivering best practice client experiences. This is a multifaceted role that focuses on the areas of Workplace space planning and design Ideas, with a primary focus on being accountable for Design Excellence in all aspects of a project, including zoning, workplace layout plans, design direction, Design story, 3D Design, and Design proposal.
What You Will Do :
- Responsible for the design quality of all projects you are directing and for proactive involvement in the quality of design across the project lifecycle, including zoning, layout plan, and workplace strategy consultant and concept ideas.
- Is the primary client interface for the design's direction and implementation, fostering a genuine, accountable relationship with the client throughout the project and beyond.
- Is a passionate advocate for our clients, ensuring that the design vision exceeds goals and expectations.
- Is a fearless integrator and advocate for diverse points of view and expansive thinking.
- Defines a project's creative foundation by distilling goals and strategy and articulating a clear conceptual direction. Guiding the project team to deliver on the big idea. Extends the concept across all project touchpoints.
- Represents expertise in all project phases, takes calculated risks, leading teams into uncharted explorations - Holds the ultimate responsibility of overall design quality for all projects you are directing.
- Ensures mentoring of the next generation of designers.
- Continually improve design culture within team (resources, discourse, and initiatives ).
- Assures a collaborative and integrated approach towards working with other disciplines in team.
Key Requirements:
- Minimum 4+ years experience working on Office design projects.
- Strong background in the Workplace sectors.
- Interior design degree or architectural qualifications.
- Creative flair, with the ability to contribute to design ethos.
- Client-facing experience with job running.
- Experience delivering design proposals to packages.
- Strong design ability, including 3D rendering and proficiency in Sketchup, Enscape, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop...
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
- Proven ability to lead and manage teams, mentoring junior members.
- Knowledge of finishes, material specification, and curating FF&E schemes.
