About the job:
1. Responsibilities:
- Receive purchase request from Sales team then work with suppliers in Europe/ USA to confirm orders, production schedules, delivery timelines, and payment terms.
- Organize international shipping from Europe/ USA via air freight/ sea freight coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines.
- Planning and categorising the different orders with different suppliers to make sure there are no delays to project delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Control and verify import documents, including: Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, CO, CQ.
- Liaise with Vietnamese customs authorities to complete customs clearance procedures and resolve any arising issues.
- Track shipment progress and provide accurate updates to relevant departments (warehouse, accounting, sales).
- Check and reconcile transportation costs, taxes, and import duties to ensure
- transparency and cost-effectiveness.
- Meticulous management of documentation and tracking of production for each items in the order lines. Zero tolerance in tracking back orders.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of all import documents in accordance with regulations.
- Dedication in internal and external communication to make sure relevant parties and departments are well informed promptly.
2. Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in import, preferably with experience importing from Europe.
- Strict accuracy in the information received, processing, and reporting.
- Solid understanding of import procedures, customs clearance, quality inspection.
- Skilled in managing the small details for complex order processing and broad range of information fields.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with foreign partners and logistics service providers.
- Ability to work independently and handle time-sensitive tasks under pressure.
- Manage the pressure well, meet all the deadline.
- Proficient in English for import operations.
