The Opportunity:
We are looking for a new Senior HR Specialist to join our ADI HQ in Vietnam. You will be working closely with the rest of the team and assist with a wide range of tasks including recruitment and hiring process, development/learning management, HR policies/ compliance as well as supporting the organization with daily tasks.
To be successful in this role, you need to have considerable experience in the human resource domain and must have knowledge of Vietnamese labor legislation. Experience with labor contracts, work permits / visa applications for expats is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee end-to-end HR operations, policies, and systems, ensuring alignment with regional/global HR frameworks and local compliance.
- Act as a trusted HR partner to management, providing advice on employee relations, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness.
- Ensure full compliance with Vietnamese labor laws, PIT, SHUI regulations; prepare and submit statutory reports and support labor inspections and audits.
- Manage payroll, PIT, SHUI, labor contracts, and final settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage compensation & benefits administration, including salary reviews, promotions, and adjustments in line with company policies and budgets.
- Lead recruitment and talent acquisition activities, partnering with hiring managers to attract, onboard, and retain key talents.
- Ensure smooth onboarding and offboarding processes for both local and expatriate employees.
- Oversee expatriate management and compliance, including visa, work permit, resident card, relocation, contracts, and benefits coordination.
- Support and manage performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and improvement plans.
- Handle employee relations matters such as grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
- Coordinate training, development, and employee engagement initiatives to enhance performance and support company culture.
- Manage HR data, reports, and analytics to support management decision-making and regional reporting requirements.
- Collaborate closely with regional/global HR teams to ensure consistency, alignment, and best practices across countries.
- Support company events, internal communications, and employee recognition programs.
- Perform other HR-related and ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4+ years of HR experience, ideally in a multi-country or multi-cultural setting
- A deep understanding of HR best practices, with a desire to break the mold and create something truly innovative
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with employees at all levels
- A strong sense of humor, because who doesn't want to work with someone who can make them laugh
- A passion for animals and a commitment to our mission of providing exceptional pet care
- Proactive and motivated, with the ability to tackle challenges head-on
- The ability to get it when we discuss ideas, focus, and ethos - in other words, you're on the same wavelength as us.
- Fluency in English
