Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. HRBP Partnering — Tech Tribe

  • Own the HRBP function as the single point of contact for the Tech tribe serving as a strategic bridge between HR and all technical functions.
  • Execute regular working sessions with Tech Heads, Chapter Leads, and Squad Leads to identify people's needs, translate them into concrete HR actions, and align with the Tech product roadmap.
  • Advised execute organizational design adjustments within the Tech tribe including squad re-formation, chapter setup, and role re-scoping in response to product strategy changes.
  • Own the design and facilitation of recurring HR touchpoints with Tech managers: pulse check-ins, people risk escalations, and quarterly talent reviews.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP Manager and relevant stakeholders to deploy change management initiatives within Tech including restructuring, leadership transitions, and new tribe formation.

2. Workforce Planning & Headcount Management

  • Own headcount tracking and HC movement management for the Tech tribe (new hire, backfill, transfer, exit) — ensure HC data in HRIS is accurate and up to date at all times.
  • Collaborate with the HRBP Manager and TABP to align the hiring plan with Tech's quarterly and annual workforce forecast.
  • Execute monthly HC movement reports for the Tech tribe to proactively identify and escalate budget variance and HC utilization risks to the HRBP Manager and Finance.
  • Own and maintain the Function OC for the Tech tribe to reflectance all structural changes promptly and accurately.

3. Performance & Talent Management

  • Execute the end-to-end performance management cycle for the Tech tribe: goal setting (OKR/KPI), mid-year review, year-end review, and calibration.
  • Own the development and maintenance of the talent pipeline and succession map for critical roles within Tech (Chapter Lead and above).
  • Advise and coach Tech managers on conducting performance conversations, delivering feedback, and driving people development foster a high-performance, psychologically safe culture.
  • Execute gap analysis and advise on promotion and career progression proposals for Tech employees to present recommendations to the HRBP Manager and HOF for approval.
  • Own attrition risk monitoring within the Tech tribe; execute regular stay interviews and proactively escalate high flight risk cases.

4. Reporting

  • Execute weekly and monthly people reports for the Tech tribe covering headcount, attrition, hiring progress, and people risk summary.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of HRBP or HR Generalist experience; experience partnering directly with a Technology function (Engineering, Product, or Data) is strongly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of Tech organization structure: tribe/chapter/squad model, agile ways of working, OKR framework able to speak the language of Tech leaders.
  • Strong analytical mindset: comfortable working with HC data, attrition trends, and people with metrics to drive insight-based recommendations.
  • Effective communicator and active listener able to build trust quickly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented: able to manage ambiguity and prioritize in a fast-moving product company environment.
  • Proficiency in English (written and spoken) required for cross-functional communication and documentation.
  • Experience with HRIS systems, Excel/Google Sheets for data tracking, and basic data visualization is a plus.
