What You can expect as Senior HR Executive (Country HR)
Role Purpose
Role Overview
This role serves as the country HR lead for Vietnam, responsible for driving end-to-end HR operations, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and partnering with business leaders to support organizational growth.
The position reports to the South East Asia (SEA) HR Head and oversees Admin Executive, ensuring effective delivery of HR services at the country level.
Country HR Leadership
Act as the primary HR point of contact for Vietnam, managing the full spectrum of HR functions and ensuring alignment with regional HR strategies.
HR Policies & Legal Compliance
Develop, implement, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and systems in compliance with Vietnam Labor Law and company standards.
HR Operations & Service Delivery
Oversee all HR operational processes, including payroll, social insurance, personal income tax, and employee benefits administration, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Employee Relations & Industrial Relations
Manage employee relations matters, maintain positive engagement, and liaise with unions and local authorities where required to ensure smooth labor relations and drive initiatives to enhance employee engagement
Learning & Development,
Work closely with regional L&D to identify capability gaps and implement training and development initiatives to strengthen organizational performance and support talent growth.
HR Business Partnering
Provide operational HR guidance to line managers on performance management, disciplinary actions and employee engagement.
HR Analytics & Reporting
Monitor and report key HR metrics such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and training effectiveness, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
Regional & Group HR Projects
Participate in and support regional HR initiatives, organizational development programs, and transformation projects led by SEA or Global HR.
Team Management
Supervise and develop the HR/Admin Executive to ensure efficient HR service delivery and strong administrative support.
What You Bring As Senior HR Executive (Country HR)
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5 years of HR generalist experience, with exposure to end-to-end country HR operations
- Strong knowledge of Vietnam Labor Code, social insurance, and tax regulations
- Experience handling payroll, employee relations, and regulatory compliance
- Proven ability to work independently as a country HR lead / HRBP
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Proficiency in Vietnamese and good working knowledge of English
- Experience in multinational or regional reporting environment is an advantage
