Position Overview

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of our financial data through accurate bookkeeping, account reconciliation, and timely financial reporting. You'll play a key role in developing accounting systems, maintaining the general ledger, and ensuring compliance with local and international financial regulations. This position also involves reviewing financial reports across offices and supporting the Financial Controller with strategic and operational accounting matters. What You Will Do
  • Develop a system to account for financial transactions by establishing and maintaining related accounting processes, policies, and practices;
  • Define and build up internal control policies and procedures;
  • Maintain bookkeeping in in-house accounting software and system, including managing the sufficiency and accuracy of accounting documents, either in soft copy or hard copy;
  • Liaise with and manage deliverables from local accountants, ensure quality and accuracy of data and reports;
  • Prepare financial reports, including but not limited to financial statements, management reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis;
  • Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying requirements, enforcing adherence to accounting-related, tax-related requirements, and filing reports
  • Advising management on needed actions for improving business optimization, financial management, tax planning, transaction structuring, etc.
  • Review periodic accounts and support accounting-related and/or finance-related issues of offices based in other jurisdictions;
  • Review payment requests and supporting documents in the system.
  • Other tasks were assigned by the management.
Skills & Competencies Required
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Knowledge about data-processing tools is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a structured and deadline-driven environment
  • Proactive, dependable, and capable of working independently as well as part of a cross-functional team
  • Analytical thinker with the ability to interpret financial data and recommend improvements
  • Clear and effective communicator in both written and spoken English (Intermediate to Upper Intermediate level)
Who Should Apply
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • At least 5 years of accounting experience, ideally in a mid to senior-level role
  • Hands-on experience in financial reporting, tax filings, budgeting, and management accounting
  • Working knowledge of statutory compliance, reporting/accounting standards, and taxation principles and practices
  • Experience in setting up systems, processes, and teams
  • Fluency in English (C1/Advanced), both written and verbal, and preferably other foreign languages
  • No restrictions on business travel
