On behalf of our client, we are hiring a
Senior Game Designer to support their growing game development team. Our client is a leading global digital entertainment and gaming company recognized for delivering high-impact mid-
core and
casual titles to millions of players worldwide.
Joining the team as a
Senior Game Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the core player experience, architecting engaging systems, and driving feature development from concept to launch. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, data-optimized gameplay that captivates global audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Gameplay & Systems: Design core gameplay mechanics, player interaction loops, and systems for casual and midcore games.
- Progression Design: Develop player progression structures, including leveling, unlocks, and rewards.
- Economy & Balancing: Design and balance in-game economies, including currencies, rewards, upgrade costs, and drop rates.
- Feature Development: Create new gameplay features, game modes, and content to boost player engagement.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and artists to implement and iterate on game features.
- Data Optimization: Analyze game metrics (retention, session time, level completion) to improve gameplay systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Multimedia, Game Design, IT, Digital Arts, or a related field.
- At least 4 years in game development, focusing on prototyping, system design, and playtesting.
- Familiarity with Unity or Unreal Engine, and standard design tools.
- Proactive in using AI tools and automation to improve productivity and quality.
- Self-starter who takes ownership of tasks and solves problems independently.
- Curious about different game genres/styles and quick to adopt new tools or workflows.
- Ability to work well both independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
