Our client is an AI-native finance platform that helps companies automate global accounting operations in a unified system, covering AR, AP, expense management, virtual cards, bookkeeping, multi-entity consolidation, and real-time financial reportingpowered by deep integrations and specialised AI agents.
Responsibilities
We're looking forFull-Stack Software Engineersto build and improve core product features end-to-end:
- Frontend:Next.js (React)
- Backend:Kotlin (primary) + some Python
You'll work on both new feature development and ongoing improvements to existing systems, from UI all the way to backend services and integrations
What You'll Do
- Design, build and ship features acrossNext.js frontendandKotlin backend
- Develop and maintain backend services, APIs, and data models
- Build performant, user-friendly interfaces using React/Next.js (SSR/SSG)
- Write lightweight Python scripts or micro-tasks where needed
- Maintain high standards for code quality, testing, and reliability
- Collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineers
- Contribute to architectural and performance improvements as the platform grows
Requirements
Must-Haves
- Strong experience withNext.js and React
- Solid backend experience withKotlin, or strongJava(highly transferable) orTypeScript backendexperience and willingness to ramp up on Kotlin
- Practical familiarity withPython(scripts, small services)
- Good understanding ofAPI design, backend services, and databases
- Strong engineering practices: clean code, testing, maintainability
- Clear communication in English and comfort working in a lean, remote team
Nice to Have
- TypeScript (frontend or backend)
- Experience withAWS/GCP, containers (e.g. Docker)
- Experience infintechor other regulated domains

- Work closely with product, design, and other engineers in a small, high-impact team.
- Company size is 40 people, with 10 engineers. You'll join a lean, product-focused team with high ownership.
