Job description
- Analyze the business specs then prepare technical specs and develop the new systems or enhance existing system for supporting business needs.
- Support the team leader on technical analysis to provide the best technical solution as well as support colleagues for solving technical issues to complete the assigned projects / tasks on timely manner.
- Investigate and answer daily enquiries on systems functional as well as problem encountered in order to resolve it in timely manner.
- In charge of unit test on enhancements / new development under responsibility to ensure developed modules are matched with business requirements.
- Assist users/team leader on building test scripts to cover all test cases.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in software development, especially in fullstack projects
- Strong proficiency in Java; hands-on experience with frameworks like Spring Boot, Spring MVC
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), with experience in responsive design using Bootstrap or Flexbox
- Experience with at least one modern frontend framework: React.js, Angular, or Vue.js
- Good knowledge of relational databases (SQL, DB2)
- Familiarity with Git and version control tools (GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket
- Experience or understanding of CI/CD processes (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Docker is a plus)
Nice to have
- Understanding of software architecture patterns: MVC, Microservices, Monolithic
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes
- Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Awareness of common web security issues (XSS, CSRF, SQL Injection, etc.)
