About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to design and build scalable, end-to-end systems supporting Masan's digital transformation initiatives across retail, FMCG, and commerce ecosystems.
You will work across the full stack — from Golang-based backend services and APIs to ReactJS-powered user interfaces — building core transformation platforms, integration services, internal tools, and data-driven applications that enable largescale digital products across Masan's business units.
This role requires strong expertise in Golang and ReactJS, along with solid understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and modern frontend engineering practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop scalable backend services and responsive frontend applications for Masan's digital platforms and transformation initiatives.
- Build and maintain microservices-based systems using Golang following modern software architecture principles.
- Design, build, and maintain modern, responsive user interfaces using ReactJS and related frontend tooling.
- Develop high-performance APIs (REST/gRPC) and service integrations across internal systems and platforms.
- Contribute to building core platform services, integration layers, and backend/frontend capabilities supporting multiple digital products.
- Optimize system performance including latency, throughput, concurrency, scalability, and frontend rendering performance.
- Work closely with Product, Data, DevOps, and Design teams to deliver reliable end-to-end solutions from database to UI.
- Ensure system reliability through logging, monitoring, alerting, and distributed tracing across the full stack.
- Participate in architecture discussions, system design reviews, UI/UX collaboration, and code reviews.
- Troubleshoot production issues across backend and frontend, and implement long-term system improvements through root cause analysis.
- Contribute to engineering best practices across CI/CD, automated testing, and deployment processes.
Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of software development experience, with strong hands-on experience in both Golang and ReactJS.
- Experience designing and building microservices and distributed systems.
- Proficiency in ReactJS, including hooks, component architecture, state management (e.g., Redux, Zustand, Context API), and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.
- Strong understanding of API design (REST/gRPC) and service-to-service communication.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s) in cloud-native environments.
- Solid experience with SQL/NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, Redis, or MongoDB.
- Experience with event-driven architectures and messaging systems such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry, Jaeger, or ELK/EFK.
- Strong understanding of concurrency, performance optimization, and scalable system design across backend and frontend.
- Familiarity with frontend build tools and ecosystem (Webpack/Vite, npm/yarn) and responsive/cross-browser design principles.
Nice to Have
- Experience building large-scale digital platforms or enterprise systems.
- Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) and clean architecture.
- Experience with Next.js or other React-based frameworks.
- Experience in retail, FMCG, supply chain, or digital commerce ecosystems.
- Experience integrating with data platforms, analytics systems, or customer platforms.
- Familiarity with design systems and component libraries (e.g., Ant Design, Material UI, Tailwind CSS).
