What are we looking for
If you are a
Full Stack Software Engineer who enjoys building end-to-end features, working across modern techstacks like .NET 7/8, Angular 14/15, TypeScript, MySQL, and Elasticsearch, while maintaining legacy systems in AngularJS and Angular 8, this role is for you! You'll also have the chance to contribute to our Ruby backend services from time to time.
You'll own your work from design to release, provide technical leadership, and help set engineering standards. If you also enjoy setting engineering standards, collaborating in agile teams, and leveraging AI tools to boost productivity, you'll fit right in.
What are you expected to do
- Agile Delivery: Participate actively in scrums, sprint planning, and JIRA workflows.
- Full Ownership: Own the design, development, testing, release, and support of your work.
- Full Stack Development:
- Backend: C#/.NET 7/8 and Ruby (as needed)
- Frontend: Angular 14/15 and TypeScript, with maintenance of AngularJS and Angular 8
- Database design and optimization: MySQL.
- Trunk-Based Development: Contribute continuously to the trunk, keeping the codebase production-ready.
- Testing & Quality: Write and maintain automated tests; ensure your work meets requirements without a dedicated QA team.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor team members, lead code reviews, and uphold engineering standards.
- Architecture & Design: Shape scalable, maintainable systems while balancing new development with legacy support.
- AI-Enhanced Development: Leverage AI tools like Claude Code and Codex to boost productivity, quality, and delivery.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements in tools, processes, and practices.
You'll be a great fit if:
- Proven full-stack experience with C#/.NET (7 or later), Angular (14+), and TypeScript.
- Experience maintaining legacy AngularJS and Angular 8 systems.
- Exposure to Ruby on Rails or Ruby backend services is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of MySQL design, queries, and performance optimization.
- Familiarity with Elasticsearch is a plus.
- Solid experience with trunk-based development and CI/CD pipelines.
- Comfortable owning end-to-end quality in a no-QA environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum practices and JIRA-driven workflows.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to mentor peers.
- Enthusiastic about working in an AI-assisted development environment.

Please note: This role is remote; however, we require candidates to be based locally in the Philippines. This is to support occasional onsite activities such as team events, client meetings, or equipment handover. Additionally, local residency is necessary for compliance with Philippines labor laws and employment regulations.

- You'll go through 34 interviews plus a possible assessment with our client partner. This includes an initial chat, a culture-fit interview, and 12 conversations with our awesome client. The whole process usually takes 12 weeks, but we'll let you know if things need to move quicker.
