THE ROLE
PITO is looking for an experienced Senior Full-Stack Engineer to support PITO Cloud Canteen through a high-impact, time-boxed engineering sprint. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering automated payment and self-service systems that enable our platform to scale ahead of the Lunar New Year period. This role focuses on building and hardening core workflows rather than long-term system maintenance.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Own end-to-end delivery of payment automation using VNPay and Vietnamese bank gateways (ACB or equivalent);
- Design and implement automated B2B invoicing, payment reconciliation, and error-handling flows
- Build core self-service features for caterers, including onboarding and order routing;
- Develop and harden backend services using AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and CloudWatch;
- Ensure system reliability through monitoring, logging, load testing, and edge-case handling;
- Collaborate daily with product stakeholders to scope, ship, and iterate quickly;
- Pair with and mentor a junior engineer, especially on AI-assisted coding workflows;
- Produce clear technical documentation and conduct knowledge transfer before handoff.
REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years of professional Full-Stack development experience;
- Strong proficiency in NextJS, React, and TypeScript;
- Hands-on experience integrating Vietnamese payment gateways (VNPay strongly preferred);
- Banking API integration - ACB or similar Vietnamese bank APIs;
- Solid experience with AWS services (Lambda, EventBridge, CloudWatch);
- Proven ability to work independently and ship production features under tight timelines;
- Comfortable using AI-assisted coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, Claude, GPT, etc.) as part of daily workflow.
