Position: Senior/Lead Full Stack Engineer (8+ years of experience)

About the project

This role is part of a large-scale InsurTech project in the health and protection insurance domain. The project focuses on building and evolving modern digital platforms, APIs, and tools that support insurance business operations across multiple international markets in Europe and Asia.

The project is developed following an API-first and cloud-based approach, with strong emphasis on scalability, security, and long-term maintainability. It aims to accelerate digital transformation by modernizing existing systems and delivering new digital capabilities for internal and partner-facing use.

You will work in a cross-functional, agile product team, collaborating closely with tech leads, developers, and stakeholders to design, build, and continuously improve the platform.

Requirements

Under the responsibility of a Tech Lead, you will fully participate in the development of our digital offers and tools for international AXA entities and support the digital transformation of our existing tools. As such:

You develop and expose APIs in Python

You know how to develop front components based on React

You participate in the implementation of a sustainable and industrialized architecture

You search for and resolve bugs

You help us with the design and running of our assets You participate in improving test coverage

Essential Technologies and Languages:

Python / Flask / Fast API

React

AWS Cloud including Lambda

Docker

MongoDB

Having some infra knowledge (terraform, for example) is appreciate.

Desired Profile:

You have proven experience in backend development and have front-end React skills. Thanks to your knowledge of architecture, you are comfortable proposing concrete actions for integration and continuous deployment. You are not afraid to challenge a need to implement a solution that seems more appropriate. Your English level is operational at a minimum: ability to write and interact orally. For you, agile is not just a word used by your 5th grade PE teacher. Autonomous and proactive, you want to get involved and grow within a competent and friendly team.
