Job Description

I. Job Description

  • Accounting: Control, supervise, and ensure accounting entries are fully, accurately, and properly recorded in compliance with applicable regulations. Implement effective and timely data control measures.
  • Reporting: Prepare and adjust special or ad-hoc reports to meet requests from relevant stakeholders and verify the accuracy of such reports.
  • Advisory: Handle non-standard inquiries; professionally analyze and assess the impacts of laws, internal regulations, and systems to provide advisory opinions and resolve issues. Provide consulting, advice, and proposals to business units for new products within areas of accounting or taxation expertise to ensure compliance and/or tax optimization.
  • Control: Control data logic between systems and across reports within accounting operations. Develop control tools to enhance data accuracy and reliability.
  • Policy Development: Identify gaps or inefficiencies in existing processes and propose improvements to enhance productivity. Address system errors or limitations, or propose new procedures to implement or update regulatory requirements. Proactively contribute individual initiatives, collect and consolidate team ideas to draft documents, develop new financial policies and procedures, or modify/enhance systems to improve effectiveness and meet new regulatory requirements.
  • Project Participation: Participate in projects by defining requirements related to accounting policies, accounting rules, and reporting principles. Advise and coordinate with other units to develop project requirements and solutions to ensure compliance with financial and accounting regulations.
  • Business Partnership: Act as a business partner to other functions, engaging in discussions and providing sound explanations and justifications.

II. Requirements

Nationality Requirement: This position is open to Vietnamese citizens only.

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Banking, or related fields.
  • Experience: At least 4–5 years of experience in finance and accounting functions, including experience in accounting policy roles.
  • Professional Knowledge:
  • In-depth understanding of financial and accounting policies and regulations; strong knowledge of VAS and IFRS.
  • Knowledge of legal documents related to credit institutions and banking operations, products, and services.
  • Knowledge of financial and accounting operations of subsidiaries such as securities and insurance companies.
  • Required Skills:
  • Ability to quickly grasp tasks and responsibilities.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and task management skills.
  • Effective communication, negotiation, and persuasion skills.
  • Strong analytical, synthesis, and evaluation skills with the ability to apply policies for advisory purposes.
  • Ability to work and communicate in English.
