We are seeking a Senior Accountant with a global mindset to join the company in a fully remote capacity. This role is designed for a CPA qualified professional with extensive experience handling financial operations for the US market. You will be responsible for managing high value, complex accounts receivable, conducting sophisticated financial reporting, and ensuring strict compliance with US regulations. This senior-level position offers the flexibility to work from any location while demanding a high degree of expertise in reconciliation, delinquency reduction, and strategic oversight of accounting operations.
What You'll Do
- Account Management: Handle high balance, complex, or severely delinquent accounts, including B2B and consumer debts.
- Financial Reporting: Reconcile AR, apply cash receipts, and manage month-end/year-end closing processes.
- Analysis & Strategy: Perform aging analysis, monitor credit risk, and develop strategies to optimize the collections process.
- Compliance & Audit: Ensure all actions comply with federal, state, and local laws (e.g., FDCPA) and support internal/external audits.
- System Oversight: Utilize ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and specialized software to track and manage data.
What We're Looking For
- Expertise: CPA holder with a Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance from an overseas or English taught program.
- Experience: 3-5 years of experience in accounting or corporate finance, specifically within US based companies. Deep understanding of US business culture is essential.
- Skills: Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills; proficiency in Excel and global ERP systems. Certifications like CCCP are a plus.
- Location: Flexible (Vietnam or global); must be able to align with US business requirements and time zones.
