Key Responsibilities
1. Finance & Accounting
- Manage day-to-day Finance & Accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance with local accounting and tax regulations.
- Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets, expense reports, financial statements, and cash flow.
- Coordinate PIT, CIT, VAT tax finalization and work with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and financial institutions.
- Oversee cost-center tracking, invoice processing, payment procedures, and financial reconciliations.
- Monitor financial performance, costs, and compliance, and provide reports/recommendations to management.
2. External Relations & Compliance
- Build and maintain relationships with strategic partners, government agencies, banks, and financial institutions to support business development.
- Monitor compliance with relevant legal, tax, environmental, and occupational safety regulations.
- Support management in handling regulatory matters and maintaining effective relationships with relevant authorities.
3. Administration & Business Support
- Oversee overall back-office operations, including Finance, Accounting, HR, and Administration.
- Coordinate with the Managing Director and Seoul Headquarters on HR, administrative, financial, and operational matters.
- Support business operations and other tasks as assigned by the Managing Director.
4. HQ Communication & Liaison
- Act as the key contact person for financial and operational matters with Seoul HQ, particularly in the absence of the line manager.
- Prepare, translate, and present financial, administrative, and operational reports to HQ and support external audits.
- Ensure timely communication and coordination between the Vietnam office and HQ.
Job Requirements
Experience & Professional Knowledge
- 5+ years of experience in Finance, Accounting, Finance & Administration, or a related role.
- Experience in an FDI company is highly preferred.
- Experience in Environmental, Energy, Construction, EPC/Contracting is preferred; construction industry experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Vietnamese accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial compliance.
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with government agencies and external stakeholders.
- Good understanding of energy & environmental market trends and government policies, with the ability to support long-term business/investment strategies.
Education & Certification
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Mandatory: Chief Accountant Certificate, CPA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent professional certification.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint); experience with SAP/ERP systems is preferred.
