Key Responsibilities:
Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance data architectures in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Lead the development and optimization of data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications and data models.
- Ensure best practices in data governance, security, and compliance.
Cloud Strategy & Implementation
- Architect cloud-native data solutions and oversee cloud migration initiatives.
- Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
- Evaluate and integrate cloud services and tools to enhance data capabilities.
Team Management & Leadership
- Lead and manage a team of data engineers and analysts, providing mentorship and performance feedback.
- Foster a collaborative, innovative, and high-performing team culture.
- Allocate resources effectively across projects and ensure timely delivery.
- Conduct regular team reviews, set goals, and support career development.
Strategic Planning & Innovation
- Develop and execute a roadmap for data infrastructure and analytics capabilities.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and recommend emerging technologies.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders to align data strategies with business objectives.
Communication & Stakeholder Engagement
- Communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
- Prepare and present architecture proposals, project updates, and strategic plans.
- Ensure documentation and knowledge sharing across teams.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect in data-centric and cloud environments.
- Strong expertise in Data Engineering (ETL, data pipelines, cloud platforms like AWS/GCP/Azure).
- Solid foundation in Data Analysis and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
- Proficiency in Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Demonstrated experience in team leadership and project management.
- Strategic mindset with the ability to plan and execute long-term initiatives.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certifications in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert).
