Position Summary:
The District Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for leading and managing the field sales team within the assigned Ho Chi Minh City territory, focusing on the ETC (Ethical/Prescription) segment and clinic channel.
This role ensures effective implementation of sales strategies, achievement of business objectives, and the development of strong partnerships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and clinic stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Sales & Business Development
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for assigned products within the ETC/clinic channel.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans to grow market share and coverage.
- Identify potential new accounts and business opportunities in the assigned area.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to optimize sales performance.
2. Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead, coach, and motivate a team of Medical Representatives (MRs) to achieve sales and performance goals.
- Conduct regular field visits, joint calls, and coaching sessions to improve team effectiveness.
- Support continuous development of team members through training and performance feedback.
3. Relationship Management
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs), clinic owners, and healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with marketing and medical teams to organize scientific events, product presentations, and CME activities.
- Ensure a high standard of product and disease knowledge among the sales team.
4. Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure that all promotional and business activities comply with company policies and local regulations.
- Provide timely and accurate reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market intelligence.
- Uphold ethical standards in all customer interactions and team operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.
- Minimum 35 years of pharmaceutical sales management experience, preferably within the ETC/clinic channel.
- Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing sales teams.
- Deep understanding of the pharmaceutical market dynamics in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong business acumen and analytical mindset.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools.
- Fluency in Vietnamese; good English communication is a plus.
