Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (K8s), and Virtual Machines (VMs)

• Designing, deploying, and operating monolithic, microservices, and serverless applications across cloud environments

• Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless deployment and scaling of applications

• Implement automated testing and deployment pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

• Automating infrastructure provisioning, testing, and deployment using Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform.

• Implementing and maintaining monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) to ensure full system observability

• Embedding security best practices throughout the development lifecycle (DevSecOps) and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards

• Working with various database technologies (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) to support application development and deployment needs

• Work with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to our infrastructure

• Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing

• Handling incident management, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting complex issues in different environments (DEV, STAGING, PROD)

• Willing to work outside regular office hours or on weekends when required for deployments or urgent issues

Requirements

• 5 years of experience in DevOps or a related field

• Strong understanding of Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Kubernetes (K8s), and Virtual Machines (VMs)

• Experienced with automation tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI/CD

• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

• Experienced with Docker or other containerization platforms

• Good communication skills in English

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field Nice to Have

• Hands-on experience with other Cloud technologies like: AWS, Azure is a big plus

• Experienced in Puppet or other configuration management tools is a plus
