Akila is looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer with ambition, creativity and a passion for sustainability and technology. Our team is involved in a wide variety of technologies, like digital twin, 3D engine development and cross platform development. This role will be critical for Akila's development, as it represents both Mobile and Web platform. Candidate should be comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment where speed, hard work and fresh thinking are critical to success.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- In charge of automatic operation and maintenance, project delivery, deployment, monitoring and service governance and optimization of Akila platform.
- Improve the efficiency and quality of software development, operation and maintenance.
- Design and develop DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD framework.
- Provide tech support on safety, promote security programs and platforms.
- Analyze and solve problems, be able to quickly respond to emergencies.
Key Skills and Competencies:
- Experience with DevOps tools and technologies, like Git, Jenkins, Maven, Terraform and common tools like ELK, Prometheus.
- Rich experience with Docker containers and skilled in using Docker, Kubernetes and Istio.
- Experience with Cloud providers like Azure and AWS, must be familiar with those popular PAAS services like MySQL, Redis, Object Storage, Click-house and IoT Time Series Database and CDN etc.
- Familiar with one or more programming languages, Python and Shell are preferred.
- Have in-depth understanding of distributed architecture, like microservice architecture, service-mesh.
- Be familiar with mainstream R&D technologies, with open-source community are preferred.
- Proficient in Linux system administration and command-line tools.
- Perform zero-downtime upgrades for serving critical online traffic and tight SLA batch jobs.
- Knowledge of application security testing tools (SAST, DAST, SCA) is a plus.
- Knowledge of MLOPS is a plus.
- Excellent trouble shooting skill.
- Proactive & Plan-Do-Check-Act attitude with good capabilities of problem solving.
- Excellent attention to details, follow-through design and be able to work independently.
- Adaptable, resilient, and positive attitude.
- Good English communication
