*JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Proficiency in Oracle database, SQL Server, PostgreSQL database
- Strong experience in SQL scripting and query optimization
- Experience in database administration and Business Intelligence (BI) lifecycle
- Experience in data modeling, ETL/ELT development, and data warehousing
- Experience in Oracle APEX setup, configuration, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Experience in programming/scripting (Python, Shell, or equivalent) is a plus
- Knowledge of data warehouse concepts
- First level support to business users on data, reports, and database-related issues
- Complete required checklists, monitoring tasks, and reports on a regular basis
- Analyze and provide ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and data insights to business users
- Design, build, and maintain ETL pipelines and data transformation processes
- Monitor and optimize database performance (queries, indexes, execution plans)
- Manage backup, restore, and disaster recovery processes
- Ensure data security, integrity, and access control
- Analyze and resolve database issues (deadlocks, slow queries, system failures)
- Test and support deployment of new data solutions, reports, and system changes
- Provide training and guidance to business users on reports and dashboards
- Administer database users, roles, and permissions
- Support business activities such as store operations, stock take, reporting requirements
- Other tasks assigned by Application Senior Manager
