Role Purpose
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, consistency and reliability of consumer panel data before production and reporting.
- Act as a subject matter expert in Data Validation, Data Quality and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate household purchase, usage and survey data using established validation rules.
- Detect, investigate and resolve outliers, logical inconsistencies, barcode issues and product coding errors.
- Maintain product dictionaries, SKU mapping and validation frameworks.
- Perform root cause analysis and recommend preventive actions for recurring data quality issues.
- Support automation and continuous improvement initiatives.
Technical Skills & Digital Capabilities
- Database knowledge: relational databases, data structures, primary keys, foreign keys, data mapping and SQL querying.
- Data quality techniques: data profiling, data cleansing, reconciliation, exception management and outlier detection.
- Advanced Excel skills including PivotTables, XLOOKUP, Power Query, dashboards and data auditing.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau or similar visualization tools is preferred.
- Programming capability in SQL and preferably Python; R is an advantage.
- Ability to develop scripts and automation solutions for data validation, reporting and quality monitoring.
- Knowledge of APIs, system integrations and data processing workflows is an advantage.
- Ability to use AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and AI-powered analytics tools to improve productivity and data quality.
- Understanding of analytics concepts, reporting techniques and data-driven decision making.
Leadership & Continuous Improvement
- Lead quality improvement projects and support implementation of new validation processes.
- Train team members and contribute to SOP and quality framework development.
- Drive efficiency improvements through automation and process standardization.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
- 1 - 3+ years experience in Data Validation, Data Quality, Market Research Operations or related field.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- English communication skills
- Knowledge of FMCG, consumer panel data and shopper behavior is preferred.
