Data Scientists in the Ads team advise business stakeholders on how to solve problems with advanced analytics, build predictive models, and work with engineers to deliver production model
What you will do:
- Research applied data science problems in our ads systems to build Click-through rate/Conversion rate prediction models, improve prediction accuracy, auction strategies, and drive advertiser value;
- Work closely with engineering and product teams to develop hypotheses, run experiments, and prototype new product ideas;
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to build/maintain reports, dashboards, and metrics to monitor the performance of our products, provide insights and identify new opportunities;
- Apply technical expertise with quantitative analysis, experimentation, data mining, and data transparency to develop an understanding of the ads targeting/auction/delivery system.
What you will need:
- 3+ years of working experience in Big Data, Machine Learning, experience in advertising field is a plus;
- BS, MS, PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields;
- Proficiency in programming using Python, SQL, Spark, ;
- Proficiency in data structures and algorithms, machine learning;
- Proficiency in at least 1 deep learning framework (Pytorch, Tensorflow,);
- Experienced with NLP tasks, building insightful dashboards is a plus;
- Intellectual curiosity, effective communication, and excellent presenting skills.
