Job Description
- Define and execute data science strategy aligned with regional and global goals
- Lead and mentor a team of senior and junior data scientists
- Deliver advanced analytics prototypes and scale high-value solutions
- Oversee end-to-end data science projects ensuring timely and impactful delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed insights into business strategies
- Drive R&D to identify emerging analytics opportunities and technologies
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
- Ensure governance, standardization, and MLOps best practices across platforms
- Build partnerships with external vendors and enhance AI capabilities
The Successful Applicant
- Advanced degree (PhD or Master's) in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, or related field
- 10+ years in data science, including 4+ years in leadership roles
- Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, and big data technologies
- Proficiency in Python, R, SQL, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong leadership, strategic thinking, and project management skills
- Excellent communication and ability to translate complex insights for non-technical stakeholders
