About Data Engineer Position
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Data Engineer (Senior/Principal/Lead) to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and data platforms using Python, SQL, Airflow, Spark, Kafka, and modern DevOps practices. The role focuses on data modeling, data warehousing, and delivering reliable data solutions for analytics and BI.

Responsibilities
o Design, build and maintain data pipelines that are scalable, reliable and efficient
o Develop and manage data storage solutions, including data warehouses and data lakes
o Implement and maintain ETL processes for various data sources
o Ensure data quality, accuracy, and consistency across all data sources
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement data-driven solutions to business problems
o Stay up to date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in data engineering, data science, and machine learning
o Develop and maintain documentation of data processes, data models, and metadata
o Ensure data privacy and security are maintained throughout all data processes
Requirements
o 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer in the IT industry.
o Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
o Strong hands-on experience with Python, SQL, Linux, ETL pipelines, and cloud platforms (preferably GCP).
o Proficiency in Apache Spark and/or Apache Kafka for large-scale data processing and streaming.
o Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Docker.
o Nice to have: Experience with Java, Airflow, Git, Databricks, and GCP.
o Strong analytical thinking, teamwork, and an automation mindset.
o Good English communication skills.
